The EFP presents three annual awards: the EFP Eminence in Periodontology Award, the EFP Distinguished Scientist Award, and the EFP Distinguished Service Award. Nominations must be returned by 1st September in any year in order to be considered for that year's award.

The EFP awards three prizes: The Jaccard-EFP Research Prize in Periodontology, the Postgraduate Research Prize in EFP Accredited Postgraduate Programmes in Periodontology and the EFP Innovation Award for Digital Solutions for Gum Health

The Jaccard-EFP Research Prize in Periodontology is awarded every three years at the EuroPerio conference, deadline for submission at least six months prior to the conference date.

The EFP Innovation Award for Digital Solutions for Gum Health, supported by GSK is awarded annualy and is for digital innovation that will contribute to gum health worlwide. Next submission deadline to be confirmed

Submission deadline for the Postgraduate Research Prize is January 5th for consideration for this year's prize.
