The Periodontology MClinDent at King's College London
The Periodontology MClinDent at King's College London combines academic study, clinical skills training and research and offers exceptional, innovative teaching in the heart of London, within one of the most prestigious Institutes of Dentistry in Europe. A wealth of academic expertise will give students a thorough practical education in advanced clinical periodontology, including aesthetics, implants and contemporary surgical methods.
The programme director is Professor Luigi Nibali and the codirector is Professor Mark Ide. Among other academic teachers, Dr Mandeep Ghuman, Dr Emily Lu, Dr Vanessa Sousa and Dr Roberto Rotundo. Key benefits are preparation for recognition of UK specialist training, preparation for the MPerio assessments offered by RCS Edinburgh and RCS England or equivalent mono-speciality membership examination, a strong research component and strong links with other restorative specialties.
The EFP accredited programme is offered only as full-time (5 days/week for 3 years), while the 4-year programme is not EFPaccredited.
