Learn about Perio Workshop, the EFP’s annual scientific meeting that brings the best periodontal scientists together to reach a new consensus on strategic periodontal issues.

The second Perio Talks live session on Instagram takes place on Tuesday 18 August at 19.00 (CET) and will focus on the bidirectional relationship between periodontitis and diabetes.

Lior Shapira (EFP president-elect and professor of periodontology at the Hebrew University–Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel) will discuss the latest research on the links between the two diseases with Reena Wadia (EFP communications team).

The session will be transmitted live on the EFP’s Instagram page (@perioeurope).

EFP Perio Talks is a series of live sessions on Instagram where leading periodontists will discuss key topics in science and clinical practice.

The first Perio Talks session on 14 July featured former EFP secretary general Iain Chapple discussing the new EFP clinical practice guideline on periodontal therapy with Bruno De Carvalho.
