EuroPerio9 organisers offer tips to help participants

Organisers of EuroPerio9, the EFP congress of periodontology and implant dentistry which takes place in Amsterdam from June 20 to 23, have issued four key tips for participants.

Mondial Congress & Events, the EFP’s professional congress organiser, said that following this advice would make arriving at the congress and completing registration easier. The tips are:

1. Have the digital bar code (or print-out) ready: people who have registered are advised to bring their bar code or a printed copy of their registration confirmation to the registration area to ensure they receive a quicker service in getting the name badges. The bar code, along with other important information, is included in emails headed “Your Congress Material – EuroPerio9” that will be sent to registered attendees on Tuesday, June 12.
2. Download the EuroPerio9 App: All participants are encouraged to download the EFP App so that they can use the dedicated EuroPerio9 App that provides a wide range of congress information, enables voting during various sessions, and offers an overview of the venue and the exhibition.
3. Train is cheapest way to the venue: The most economical way to travel to the RAI Amsterdam venue from Schiphol Airport is by the NS Sprinter train. Direct trains from the airport take just 17 minutes to arrive at the RAI Amsterdam station and leave from Platform 3 every 10 minutes. Tickets can be bought at NS ticket machines or NS service counters at the airport train station and cost about €4.
4. Get familiar with the congress, the venue, and the city: Visitors to EuroPerio9 are advised to explore the EuroPerio9 app and the EuroPerio9 area of the EFP website to find useful information.

Mondial also encourages early registration, advising people to collect their materials with plenty of time before the first session that they plan to attend. The registration counters open at 09.00 on Wednesday, June 20.
