The EuroPerio Photo Contest is back: show us the beauty of perio!

Do you have an eye for detail: not just in clinical practice, but also through the lens of a camera?

The EFP is delighted to announce the return of the EuroPerio Photo Contest! Now in its third edition, this contest celebrates the talent, creativity, and perspective of dental professionals who are also passionate photographers. 

If you're attending EuroPerio11 in Vienna (14–17 May 2025) and are a member of an EFP-affiliated national society, you are invited to submit your best dental-themed photographs for a chance to gain recognition and win a valuable prize.

Capture the essence of periodontology

Whether it's the beauty of healthy gums, the stark reality of dental disease, or an extreme/freestyle clinical moment, the EFP contest invites submissions that tell a story, educate, or inspire through powerful imagery. You can submit more than one photo, so feel free to share multiple perspectives.

Winning photos will be displayed at EuroPerio11, giving you a unique opportunity to showcase your vision to a global audience of peers and experts.

The winner of each category will receive free registration (travel and accommodation not included) to one of the EFP’s upcoming flagship events:  Perio Master Clinic 2026, the International Perio Master Clinic 2027 or EuroPerio12.

Requirements

All entries must be:

• Submitted in jpeg format, between 1MB and 5MB, using the RGB colour model.
• On a dental subject and fit into one of the three categories: 

1. Healthy gums / healthy life 
2. Dental disease 
3. Extreme/freestyle

Each submission must be accompanied by: 

• Name of the submitter and their national society affiliation 
• Name of the chosen category 
• Location of the photograph 
• A brief description for use as a caption 
• Image size in pixels (source image: high-resolution versions may be requested)

By submitting your photo, you confirm that the image is your own original work, that you hold the copyright, and that you have obtained permission from anyone depicted in the photo. You also agree to grant the EFP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your photo across its platforms, including website, social media, print publications, and partner channels.

Submit your photo(s) by email to efp-photocontest@mondial-congress.com by the deadline on Monday, 5 May 2025 to be considered.
