Upcoming Turkish Periodontology Congress in Antalya

The 53rd Scientific Congress and 31st Scientific Symposium of the Turkish Society of Periodontology will take place from 7 to 10 November 2024 at the Susesi Resort Hotel in Belek, Antalya. This annual event brings together professionals from the field of periodontology to discuss the latest developments and strengthen collaboration. The congress will have a diverse programme with sessions conducted in both Turkish and English, ensuring accessibility to a wide international audience.

Participants can look forward to in-depth discussions on critical topics such as:

• Implant therapy in periodontitis patients: exploring the latest scientific evidence and clinical recommendations.
• Tunnelling technique in multiple gum recessions: a detailed session on why, when, and how to apply this technique.
• Mucogingival management of the lower anterior region: examining the dynamics that influence healing and decision-making.
• Genetic disorders in gingival wound healing: understanding the genetic factors that contribute to periodontitis.

TSP-Colgate Scientific Research Award

As part of the 53rd Scientific Congress of the Turkish Society of Periodontology, once again TSP-Colgate Scientific Research Award presentations will be held. Following peer review, 11 out of 23 applications will be presented at the congress. A scientific jury of five professors will select the best three submissions. They will receive their awards at the congress gala party.

Additionally, this year there will be a clinical photo contest. Participants are required to register for the congress and can submit up to two images, provided they are original works and have not participated in other competitions.
