Aesthetics in periodontology and implantology

The 22nd International Congress of the SIdP will therefore be entirely dedicated to the dream of aesthetics in our profession. The Congress will open on Thursday with pre-congress Courses, particularly with the International SIdP-Sepa symposium, which will present, in a very innovative format, the results of the International Consensus on Aesthetics organized by the EFP with SIdP and Sepa. Additionally, there will be a course on “Nutrition and Lifestyle as Risk Factors in Periodontology” conducted by Prof. Francesco Sofi. On Friday and Saturday, we will have a more traditional format, starting with a wonderful prolusion by Prof. Silvana Sciarra, Emeritus President of the Constitutional Court, who will talk about the right to health. Subsequently, an incredible lineup of speakers will analyse aesthetic issues starting from clinical and biological foundations and then delve into periodontal and regenerative plastic surgery. On Saturday, we will address the themesof aesthetics related to bone regeneration and implant treatment. At the same time, there will be a wonderful parallel event titled “Between Oral Health and Aesthetics” which will allow us to analyse the impact of periodontal therapy in an aesthetic key, how to prevent or limit damage, and how to modernize therapy to make it more acceptable by reducing its invasiveness. The post-Congress on Saturday afternoon will continue to be a unique container, with a Training Camp for Dental Student Members and theoretical Courses held by top Experts.
