“Hans-R.-Mühlemann Research Prize“/52nd Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Periodontology
The Swiss Society of Periodontology (SSP) requests applications from young dental scientists and clinicians for the “Hans-R.-Mühlemann Research Prize”.
The award recognizes original research in periodontology and related fields and is open to international competition. It consists of a cash prize of CHF 5’000.- and a certificate. Applicants must be the primary authors of an unpublished original research paper. A scientific jury will choose three to five manuscripts for presentation at the next Annual Meeting of the SSP in Baden, September 14-15, 2023. The finalists will be invited to give a 15-minute research report on the material presented in the manuscript, followed by a 10-minute discussion. The winner of the award will be selected on the basis of the quality of the manuscript, the oral presentation, and the management of the discussion. All invited speakers will receive a diploma, will have free registration, hotel accommodation for two nights and reimbursement of travel costs up to CHF 500.-.
Competitors should be young, active researchers or clinicians, such as graduate students, assistant professors or lecturers (departmental or divisional chairpersons and experienced researchers holding research leadership positions are not allowed to participate).
