The objective of this SIdP continuing education course is to gain insight in the therapeutic field, and examine the role of technological innovations in periodontology and implantology, providing hygienists with criteria needed to distinguish between information based on scientific evidence, “suggestions” based on a clinical case or information based on clinical reports exclusively driven by commercial interests.
