Perio Insight is an EFP online magazine focusing on periodontal science and clinical practice. It offers expert views and debates on key topics in periodontology and implant dentistry, and profiles research carried out at the EFP-accredited postgraduate programmes of periodontology.
It is edited by Joanna Kamma (Communications Committee) with Andreas Stavropoulos (Scientific Affairs Committee) as scientific adviser.

The development of a dynamic in-vitro model with multispecies biofilm is helping to increase our understanding of the behaviour of subgingival bacteria within biofilms and to assess the impact of different implant surfaces on biofilm growth.
